Akeemat Nassar is a lawyer with vast legal and corporate experience spanning almost a decade especially in the Financial Services Sector. She is also a corporate/commercial solicitor registered as a Compliance Officer with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); functional in a multi-disciplinary consulting capacity in corporate and legal commercial transactions, trusteeship, real estate, mediation and secretarial duties.

She holds a Bachelor of Law degree (Hons) of the Obafemi Awolowo University,Ile-Ife and a Master of Law degree in Corporate and Commercial Law at the Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom. She is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association and commenced her working career as an Associate Counsel at Bolaji Ayorinde & Co.

She also served in various capacities at Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc and Stanbic IBTC Pensions Ltd before joining Sterling Asset Management and Trustees Limited (SAMTL) where she rose to the position of Assistant Head, Trust Services & Legal Department. She is presently the pioneer Head of Legal Department Meridian hospital, an Executive Director with Oaksalud Limited and a consultant for RineHills Consult.
